Re: robert&POETRY [UPDATED: July 21st: 3 New Poems!]
A flip of a coin, two sides.
Only one can land facing up.
Toss it into the air.
How will this end?
Both sides are the same, yet different.
Both have their own unique traits.
Which side if the best to choose from when they're so alike?
The coin lands and starts bouncing around.
It's unfair to give everything a fifty-fifty chance.
Surely one has to deserve better?
One has to be the best, right?
The coin slows down, now spinning on the side.
What will happen?
What will it choose?
Can I live with the decision?
I can hear the coin fall as I look away.
Two sides of a coin, two sides of my heart.
Is this the way to do it?
Surely this can't be right.
Why is this so hard?
I look at the coin, surprised at what I see.
Of course it's standing straight up, torturing me.
Can't make up my mind, can't be made for me.
What should I do now?
For those of you that don't know me, I tempt fate; I'll flip another coin.
