Establishing a branch on another forum is no simple task. We learned that when we expanded to Bulbagarden. Even the move to Pe2K from Yahoo was an enlightening experience.
As such, the staff would like to request the aid of the members in helping prepare the URPG for the expansion. We hope that with this help, we'll not only be ready to handle the new influx of members but also ensure that everyone has a great time in the process.
We have set up a few committees that are tasked with certain responsibilities key to the expansion's success. Each committee is chaired by a staff member who will coordinate ideas and plans. All members are welcome to apply for a committee but it is the chair's prerogative who is on the committee itself.
Note that these committees mainly deal with the URPG in general. Section preparations are lead by the Section Heads. If you're interested in helping with a specific section, contact the URPG leader in charge.

These are the committees currently implemented. We might add more if we feel they could help with the expansion.
Welcoming Committee - Chair: Bumblebee- Responsible for welcoming and interacting with new members
- Able to answer basic questions and provide helpful tips
- Knowing the various opening events
Tutor Committee - Chair: ChainReaction01- Responsible for training new members in various professions
- Encourages new members to find tutors and experienced members to tutor others
- Coordinate with Profession Testers
Initial Event Planning Committee - Chair: RaptorJesus- Responsible for planning and hosting general URPG events
- Working with the URPG staff and section leaders to ensure the events are both allowable and don't interfere with othres
The Training Committee - Chair: AmericanTreeFrog- Responsible for training new professionals before the opening of the new branch
- Coordinates with Testers to ensure candidates receive the best possible preparation
- Calculate projections of active professionals to determine if we'll have enough for the incoming tide of members
