Furret looks up at you from his totally legitimate business in the tree and bars his teeth. He knows a trainer looking for a battle when he sees one. AoiAki stands firm on a branch, ready for battle as well. Before he can even move, though, Furret is on the offensive. He runs down a branch and leaps through the air, twisting so that his body is parallel with AoiAki’s. He slams into the Oshawott, sending him flying into the trunk of the tree you’re all in. AoiAki falls, but it’s only a short distance, just to a lower branch.
AoiAki looks up, slightly angry at the attack out of nowhere, and draws his blade- er, shell. He jumps, holding it in a battle position, and slices down, just in front of Furret. As the shell comes down an extremely thin, energy charged blade of water appears at the end, biting into Furret’s skin. AoiAki lands smoothly and Furret backs away from the blade, but it’s no matter because AoiAki just places it back on his chest, the water gone. The attack has done its damage, leaving a smarting wound in Furret’s shoulder. It will heal quickly enough when the battle is over, but for now it just provides a weak point to attack, which is good considering that AoiAki isn’t exactly in peak condition himself.
