Re: Abode of Twilight [RP]
Rayna and Anya
Gatekeepers-Odin
Nexen Under City
The two had been waiting for it, they knew there was no way that the Heartless had stopped looking for them. When the Wyverns had come, Anya had gone in, blades swinging while Rayna had followed up with the offensive magic she'd been forced to use a lot of lately. "Anya, I can only fire off so many spells at a time, stop deliberately putting yourself in danger! Do you understand, An--THUNDARA!" Rayna snapped, darting forward to jerk her 'sister' back as crackling streaks of electric energy fried the Wyvern that had nearly tried to take Anya's head off. Rayna was practically dragging Anya back by a fistful of black tank top that was cut in multiple places, and her sister's jeans were shredded, while Rayna appeared nearly untouched. "Cure." She muttered as she pulled the taller, dark-haired girl closer to Amaya. The open cuts that stood out against Anya's skin took on a green glow and closed without a trace of them ever being there.
"We're all deliberately putting ourselves in danger. Thanks." Anya grumbled, proceeding to try to go back into the fight with all the Wyverns at once. She had that kind of deadly determination.
"No!" Rayna growled, jerking her still-held fistful of Anya's shirt almost angrily. "Only fight where everyone can help you. I don't want to lose you." The smaller girl told her, knowing Anya was thinking the exact same thing about her. Between the two of them, what almost looked like a heat shimmer stretched, tinged red and swirled in almost jerky movements. Odin was just as present to either of them as the one was to other, if they had looked, the crystals on their armbands would have been glowing dimly.
"Fine, but this is not good... A miracle could show up any time now and we'd appreciate it!" Anya shouted in annoyance, not really expecting anything to happen...but something did. There was a Wyvern coming towards them, Anya jerked free of Rayna's grasp and ran forward, about the same time a figure manifested on the ground before her, tripping her and sending her almost flying.
"NO!" Rayna shrieked, running after her sister even as she recognized the form of a man lying on the ground--what Anya had tripped over. And she felt the jarring impact of the ground come from Anya, who was trying to stop herself with her blades and turn around. Then the man stood uneasily, and took off after Anya himself, seeming to realize there was someone in trouble.
Terra
Good guy?
Nexen Under CIty
One moment, he'd been practically been floating in nothing as nothing itself, and then he'd suddenly just...became something. The empty bodilessness was just as quickly replaced by the sensation of solid ground(something he only vaguely remembered) and loud sounds, as well as a hard impact against his side. A loud, sharp, feminine "NO!" rang in his ears as he turned his head in time to see a thin, black-clad girl practically go flying towards a creature that looked all too familiar.
Heartless! The alarms went off in his head, and he was suddenly reminded of exactly who he was. Terra, keyblade master-in-training, student of Eraqus, a fighter. Someone meant to save others from the Heartless. With that memory, Terra shoved himself to his feet, taking off after the girl as the Heartless seemed to take immediate notice of her efforts to stop her flight with the two curved blades she held. The fighting practices had never left him, really, all he had to do was jump, slash, of course his weapon would be there... The Heartless screamed as his keyblade stabbed it, and that was when Terra realized the keyblade wasn't exactly his--it was Earthshaker he had stabbed the creature with, but Stormfall. "What the--?" The girl asked loudly, surprise coloring her voice. Without much extra thought, he turned, keyblade disappearing from his grasp to pick her up and throw her over his shoulder, careful of the blades she held. "Put me down!" She demanded hotly, but there was on way he was going to do that until they were away from the Heartless trying to kill them.
"Sorry, not right now!" He replied, turning and running the direction she's come from like the girl weighed nothing, noticing a small, green-cloaked redhead running towards them.
"Duck!" She ordered loudly, and Terra did as ordered, still running. "Blizzard!" The shout rang in his ears as a cold wind shot over him, Terra could only assume it had barely missed them.
"Nice shot, Rayna!" The girl hanging off his shoulder cheered before going back to ordering she be placed on the ground again.
OOC: And now Anya has a legit reason to not like Terra!
