i had emerald but someone stole it back in 2007 so ive got ruby and im having alot of trouble i want my team to be

sceptile
aggron
metagross
slacking
milotic
and salamence

but im 5 hours into the game and stuck at brawly, can i get some team help. im willing to ditch aggron/slaking or milotic if someone can suggest a pokemon i hsould make a part of my team just solely to make gameplay a bit more easy to work through story mode thanks
