A yawn just escaped my mouth when I was reading this novel. The trainer I'm supposed to escort to the Great Lakes would probably be here in any minute. I hope this expedition would run smoothly since we would be encountering a Pokemon which only appears on a certain location of the area.

I made a last minute review on his sign-up sheet. He would be bringing a purchased map from the Ranger Base, which contains the information needed in finding a certain Pokemon. He would also be bringing four Pokemon with him, which would ensure his safety through the park. And as expected, he's older than me.

*knock* *knock*

"It looks like the trainer's here, Jolty," I whispered to my Jolteon as I faced towards her bed. Jolty, then, smiled in delight and released small sparks in the air. I withdrew her in her respective Pokeball, walked towards the door, opened it and greeted the trainer, "You must be Nicholas Matthews, if I assume. I'm Ranger Jake and I'm supposed to escort you through the Botanic Gardens, if you won't care."
