Bladestrike looked at the pikachu in worry, his eyes wide with fear, which seemed very odd considering that he was so much bigger than Yuri.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to frighten you," the pikachu told him. Suddenly, Bladestrike relaxed a little bit. This pokémon seemed nice, and for some odd reason he felt he could trust her. Standing up, he limped over to her and stood behind her, making sure she was between him and the others.

"Do you know what happened?" he asked, then started talking to her extremely quickly in a panic. "How I got these wounds? That mightyena said we got attacked and I used to remember a little bit about it but now I can't remember what it is anymore. I didn't like her very much-she kept getting mad at me and forcing me to keep walking but I couldn't do it fast enough, there was too much pain. I don't trust those other pokémon-they look like they can hurt me...I have no idea where I am do you know where we are?" He paused for a moment and added, "my name is Strike...something...no, wait...actually, yes, I think that was my name."


Nightfang looked up, seeing the scyther move toward Yuri as he started talking to her quickly. If it weren't for their current situation, Nightfang would have been horribly embarrassed. She knew Bladestrike was confused by just about everything right now, but couldn't he act less...panicked, and more...like he normally did?

"Uh...hello," she told the pikachu. "My name is Nightfang. Are you from the valley?"


Bladestrike made a small cry of fright as Kairyu landed beside the pokémon. He heard Nightfang sigh in relief. "Yes, we're from the valley!" he heard the mightyena tell the dragonair. Bladestrike glanced fearfully at Yuri, blood still trickling from the wound in his head. "Why are there so many pokémon here?" he asked fearfully. "Am I supposed to know them? How come I can't remember?" he added fearfully, unaware that Yuri would have no way of knowing.
