Nazo sighed after reading the note. "How could I be of help, when my own powers are failing me?" Topaz mewled in a soft note, pressing her wet nose into his side in an effort to comfort him. No doubt when they first met, she had sensed his ailment. Why she didn't kill him was anyone's guess, but it turned out for the better in any case.
(I'm surprised Espio didn't notice that Nazo's scar is now black instead of white, or the black lines coming down from it. If he did, it'll bug the crud out of him cause it's another mystery XD)
